Foster Care is a care and protection system, which receives a minor, by order of a family court, where the minor is placed in the care of a person with attributes and certifications to take daily care of minor. The adult is called "Foster Parent", and it is he who has the responsibility of caring for the child during the time period that includes the Foster Care. The Foster Parent receives remuneration for their services by the state, and reports to the authorities, the conditions and situations in which the child is, when required.
